CosPlay (Costume Play) is a serious thing for many people. They impersonate their alternative character in the most glowing way and work for many months or even years to optimize their visual appearance. On many CosPlay events you will see them impressing the audience, but it's also a social community. I chatted and interviewed some of them and tried to put their second life into pictures and videos.
